Pocono Mountains Buffalo Soldiers Mission Statement

The Pocono Mountains Buffalo Soldiers Motorcycle Club (PMBSMC) is a non-profit organization comprised of men and women of color dedicated to the sport of motorcycling and to the education of all people as it pertains to the rightful place of people of color in our country’s history.

We ride under the name of Buffalo Soldiers to express the pride and respect for the many accomplishments they made during decades following the civil war.  We hope to instill that pride in the minds and hearts of today’s youths.  We believe in our young people, and believe that our representation of heroes of the past like the Buffalo Soldiers will serve to ignite and strengthen the values of our youth in the future.

 How do we do this?

1. Ride our motorcycles and wear our colors with respect
2. We are law abiding
3. Presentations in schools, churches, community groups about the Buffalo Soldiers
4. Hosting charitable events
5. Community involvement
